Day 1 - Wed 13th Aug (surfing, clam and crabs)

First, we checked out the surfing spot and went surfing. Next, we went to the cafe for a few minutes where we found a clam and lobster. On our way back we looked for coconuts and found a lot to husk later. There are lots of hermit crabs on the Island, we call them Bob. We hired snorkel gear at the visitor center and saw the same clam for sale for $200 dollars!

Day 2 - Thurs 14th Aug (surfing and kite beach)

I went surfing and paddled more at the back catching bigger waves. I saw some turtles and sharks then we went for a kitesurf at the other beach where we found coconuts to drink coconut water.

Day 3 - Fri 15th Aug (lazy rainy day)

Today was a relaxing day as it was raining a lot. I practiced husking a coconut with help from my mum.

Day 4 - Sat 16th Aug (Direction Island and snorkelling)

We went to direction island and went snorkeling, and we spotted a lot of sharks and tried getting the sharks by dad flying the drone. Mum went into the rip and found a lot of fish and clams. We rested at our day camp site and went to the other side of the island where rubbish gets washed up.

Day 5 - Sun 17th Aug (canoe tour, snorkelling and surfing)

We went island-hopping on a canoe tour and I saw my first shark snorkeling. We did the crab race and we were on the tour for 4 hours and went to 4 islands on the boat.

Day 6 - Mon 18th Aug (kite beach)

We spent the day at kite surf beach and did some kiting. I did some photography, yoga and practiced the 80m run.

Day 7 - Tuesday 19th August (fly back home :( )

We had our last day of surfing, chilling and watching the plane land on the island to take us back home. I got back home with the clam.
